Last Wednesday, 2nd July our fashion team held the AW14 press day to showcase next season’s collections for Jacques Vert Group Group at No5 Cavendish Square. It was a very busy and successful day where we worked closely with the Jacques Vert Group team to present the collections to key media from the range of Elegant British Brands – Jacques Vert, Planet, Kaliko, Windsmoor, Dash and Precis Petite. The event also gave the opportunity to unveil next season’s collaborations with eveningwear designer, Lorcan Mullany; and Rachel Trevor-Morgan, milliner to H.M the Queen. From sequined gowns to fur-trimmed coats to leather dresses, there was an array of designs for every occasion from the boardroom to the dance floor.
Guests were serenaded by talented pianist and singer Michael G Moore, whilst they browsed through collections; and fashion illustrator Zarina Liew was kept busy creating sketches of our guests in her beautiful watercolours. Everyone was given a goodie bag which included bespoke biscuits designed in the shape and colours of two new Windsmoor cocoon coats.
Our team worked to secure attendees from key titles including Sunday Times Style, YOU Magazine, London Evening Standard, Prima, Good Housekeeping, InStyle, Condé Nast Brides, and many more. It was two days of pretty much working straight through with setting up and breaking down, but it was worth the tired feet as the feedback from the media was amazing and now the sample requests are coming in! And as soon as this day wrapped, we began planning our next press day for Spring/Summer 2015 – stay tuned…
