It’s been a mighty busy and eventful week in the travel division. After months of intense planning with the X Factor and Xtra Factor production teams, Fairmont Southampton and Bermuda Tourism Authority, I jetted off to beautiful Bermuda with over 70 crew, budding superstars, judges and presenters, including Louis Walsh, Dermot O’Leary, and Sarah-Jane Crawford for what was an intense and moveable feast of a shoot schedule. With non stop singing, bundles of creative energy, an endless supply of water and a few sneaky Dark ‘N’ Stormies, we staged what the team deemed to be ‘the best reveal ever’ when guest judge Tulisa Contostavlos emerged from the stunning turquoise waters onto Bermuda’s famous pink sands to surprise the excited contestants.
There was blanket coverage in the UK press as Tulisa made her TV comeback looking stunning in an ‘Ursula Andress’ moment. The X Factor starts this Saturday on ITV and the Bermuda ‘Judges’ Houses’ episodes will be broadcast in several weeks so watch to see Bermuda like you’ve never seen it before. The show will also air on American TV for the first time ever this year, putting a UK and transatlantic spotlight on Bermuda!
