I had the pleasure of hosting drinks trade press at the recent BACARDÍ Triangle event held at the stunning El Conquistador resort on the aptly named, Island of Enchantment. This epic music adventure, curated by BACARDÍ rum, was the latest move in the BACARDÍ: Untameable Since 1862 campaign.
As dawn fell on Allhallows’s Eve the guest turned to ghouls and goblins for the Black Magic Pool Party…
… and the highlight of the trip for my guests was most definitely the tour of the BACARDÍ rum distillery given by none other than the company’s President, Joaquin Bacardi.
The event came to a thrilling end on its final night as Calvin Harris, Kendrick Lamar and Ellie Goulding took to a stage set on a private island to entertain BACARDÍ’s 1862 guests in the heart of the Bermuda Triangle. BACARDÍ is famous for throwing epic parties and this three-day adventure was no different. That combined with the booze-geekery of the distillery tour made this once-in-a-lifetime press trip one that will take something seriously unbelievable to top!
