Publicasity was tasked with launching HomeSense’s 28th UK store this month in Farnborough as part of the brand’s on-going expansion plan.

To carry out the launch, Publicasity worked with the Chairman of Farnborough Borough Council, Councillor Terry Bridgeman, to be on hand to welcome guests to the new store alongside music courtesy of a local steel-drum band.

To drive footfall and media attention a giant, oversized ‘Welcome HomeSense’ door mat and homeware props were positioned at Farnborough station.

Both this and the subsequent ribbon cutting photo call were well attended by local target media, resulting in over five targeted pieces of coverage being published, including highlights from Farnborough News & Mail and GetHampshire.co.uk.

All the above assisted the team in driving a 200-strong queue on the morning of the launch, which led to one of the most successful store launches in the brands history.
